What is a clear to close on a mortgage
#1
A clear to close is when a mortgage lender is ready to fund the mortgage loan. A clear to close is issued by the mortgage loan underwriter after the underwriter is fully satisfied with all the conditions and have verified every aspect of the mortgage loan applicant's mortgage application and documents. Here is an article on a clear to close.
