Tax Settlement By Arlene Di Sessa
One thing that you cannot discharge or ever escape you are federal income taxes. The federal government wants their money and believe me, they will collect with every possible means. Remember the famous Al Capone, the notorious Chicago mobster who was extremely lucky and was this county's most notorious ganster and had everyone at City Hall paid off including politicians, judges, aldermen, congressmen, senators, and people at The White House. Al Capone had the Chicago Police Department in his back pocket and when he went on trial for any type of crime, he had the jury on his side because he had the members of the jury pool paid off. Al Capone was untouchable. However, one thing that nailed Al Capone and got him good where he was arrested, convicted, and sentenced to federal prison was tax evasion. If you are an American and work in the United States, you need to pay your federal income taxes. Without citizens paying taxes, the government cannot function. The federal government want all of their citizens to pay their fair share and pay thier taxes. Those who do not pay their taxes, can get fined, and/or jailed. You cannot include federal taxes on your bankruptcy. The Internal Revenue Service will do tax settlement with U.S. Citizens for those who are destitude and do not have hope of making substantial income in the near future. Here is an article on tax settlement that was written by Arlene Di Sessa, a writer for Gustan Cho Associates and published on Gustan Cho Associates Mortgage and Real Estate Informational Center website, http://www.gustancho.com.
