Purchasing a foreclosure, short sale, or REO
#1
Many home buyers only gravitate towards purchasing a foreclosure, short sale, or REOs because they think that buying a home that is a REO or going through a foreclosure or short sale are bargains. This can be true, however, many times, foreclosures, short sale homes, and REOs are not as cheap as many think they are. Sometimes they are priced higher than traditional homes that are on the market. If you are intending on purchasing a foreclosure, short sale, or REO, also do comparative shopping with homes that are not in foreclosure, short sale homes, or REO homes.
