Escrows cannot be waived for any mortgage loan borrower with loan to values higher than 80% LTV. It is mandatory that they have escrows for mortgage loan borrowers who has less than 20% equity. Mortgage loan borrowers with 20% or more in equity or lower than 80% loan to value can select to waive escrows. There is normally a 0.25% price adjustments if a mortgage loan borrower waives escrows.
