If we have our in house underwriter
If we have our in house underwriters, do we have to charge clients underwriting fee?

If you are a full eagle lender, you have your own in-house underwriters. It is up to the mortgage company if they want to charge a underwriting fee. Some lenders charge a client a underwriting fee while others do not have an underwriting fee. Some mortgage lenders charge an application fee while other lenders don't. Sometimes a mortgage lender can waive an underwriting fee. Underwriting fees is one of the charges allowed under mortgage lending guidelines. So are credit report fees.
