How I became a loan originator
#1
I was a GUs's Client before, but I found him online without any expectation because I was turned down by few mortgage broker before I met him. I got a short sale last 3 years ago, and I believed that I was ready to own a house again. I got some savings and my credit was back to 670. I was interested in FHA back to work and I kept applying to this program and I always got rejected.

When I found Gus, I told him that I am interested in FHA back to work, and he told me right away that I was not going to get qualified. (at least he was very knowledgeable to tell me right away and it would not waste his time and my time). Compared to other brokers, they could not suggest anything, just took an application and denied it later. Moreover, he advised me to apply for conventional loan with 20% down, and I would be qualified.
FInally, I closed the loan with him in 5 weeks.

Beside having my dream home, I and Gus have a good friendship, and he told me the story about his beloved dog, Baby Mu, and his lovely wife, Laurie. I love Laurie, and they treat me like a part of his family. When Gus asked me if I was interested in being a MLO, I was unconfident because it was a total new business to me, but Gus so encouraged me. He told me this business is tough, challenge, and fun.

I would like to thank him for giving this opportunity to me.

Tassapat Sripetcharakool contacted me after she got told that she was told by mortgage lenders that she could not qualify for a mortgage loan. She found me online after reading some of my blog posts. When she called me, she told me about her situation and most of the mortgage brokers who she came in contact with told her she needed to wait another year to qualify for a loan. Tassapat Sripetcharakool would not take a no as an answer and she did more investigating. She wanted a home she found in Palm Beach, Florida and nothing was going to stop her dream. After interviewing Tassapat Sripetcharkool for almost an hour, I found a solution where she can qualify for a loan. Most lenders were only thinking of placing her on a FHA loan because she had a deed in lieu of foreclosure two years ago. However, she qualified for a conventional loan program under the 2 year waiting period after deed in lieu of foreclosure or short sale. Tassapat Sripetcharakool had the 20% down payment and re-established credit. Long story short, Tasspat Sripetcharakool closed on her mortgage loan.

Tassapat is a team leader among her acquaintances and friends. Like millions of other Americans, Tassapat has friends who had prior bankruptcies, short sales, and foreclosures. She recommended me to many of her friends and we worked as a team in helping them become first time home buyers. Tassapat is of Thailand descent and many of her referrals needed translation. Tassapat went beyond the call of duty and not only interpreted for me, but also helped them gather the necessary documents to get the mortgage loan done and closed. I was so impressed with Tassapat Sripetcharakool that I offered her a job to work with me as a licensed mortgage loan originator. She passed her national and state NMLS exams with flying colors the first time around with almost a 90% grade. It took no time in Tassapat originating mortgage loans. As expected, Tassapat is available to her clients 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Tassapat and I work our clients together and I am proud to have her as my partner and am so blessed to have her as a great friend. Tassapat is furthering her career by getting licensed in half a dozen states and constantly researching new mortgage loan products. Tassapat Sripetcharakool can be reached at http://www.tassapat.com or at 964-496-2608. Tassapat Sripetcharakool is a licensed mortgage banker and correspondent mortgage lender with Neighborhood Loans, Inc. Neighborhood Loans, Inc. is headquartered in Lombard, Illinois and is licensed in Florida, California, Illinois, Washington, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
