FHA appraisal transfers
If you are applying for a FHA loan and for one reason or another you are not happy with your current FHA mortgage lender and want to move your FHA loan to a different FHA mortgage lender, you may do so and you can re-use the FHA appraisal. It is called an FHA appraisal transfer. When you move your mortgage to a different mortgage lender, you also need to do the FHA case number transferred from your original mortgage lender to the FHA mortgage lender you are taking it too. With that, you can also do your FHA appraisal transfer where the new mortgage lender will honor your FHA appraisal. Here is an article on FHA appraisal transfers.
